Dolcetti is a Sicilian inspired pasticceria focused on bringing the tradition of sharing exquisite sweets with family and friends to Melbourne. Our beautifully handcrafted cakes, biscuits and tarts are made in-house from fresh seasonal produce. We have a diverse menu that changes daily, making it easy to find a new sweet treat each time you visit.
Pastry Chef Marianna DiBartolo has created Dolcetti to celebrate her Sicilian heritage and love for baking. Marianna grew up baking with her mother in Melbourne, who inherited the traditions from her own mother in Sicily. You will find Marianna's mum Lidia baking her favourite savoury pastries called "Impanate" on Saturday mornings.
Nougat & Jams
In 2010 The Foodies' Guide to Melbourne awarded Dolcetti with the honour of Best New Bakery. Since then we have appeared in Italianicious, The Epicure, The Herald Sun, the 2011 Foodies' Guide and on the SBS TV series Italian Food Safari, where Guy Grossi joined Marianna in making our luscious soft nougat.
